I’ve been super busy as of late, so haven’t gotten much quality shooting time. One of the things I’ve been wanting to do, however, was to get a shot of Berkeley around sunset or during blue hour. Luckily, as I huffed up a rather steep hill to get back to my car, I came upon this lookout point on the hill just above the Greek Theatre that highlighted UC Berkeley’s famous clock tower. There was no doubt in my mind that I had to take this shot before the light gave out, so I ran to my car, grabbed my tripod, and went back to shoot it. I’m really happy the way this photo came out, especially with the eucalyptus trees framing the scene. It was so clear that eve, you can see all the way to the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge, and even far-off Sutro Tower in the Twin Peaks neighbourhood of San Francisco.
